I was always the one in my friend group who brought along a disposable camera or my tiny Nikon Coolpix to our gatherings. In 2018, I bought my first DSLR (a used Canon Rebel) and started taking it along on my hikes in Arkansas. The Natural State is a landscape photographer’s paradise with no shortage of awe-inspiring views. I sometimes take photos along my travels, too.

I now shoot with a Sony a7ii. I’ve dabbled in commercial photography, but I prefer to take photos casually of whatever strikes my fancy. That’s still usually nature and my friends.
