Hi! I’m Beth: Native Arkansan, avid hiker, and nature photographer. Growing up in the Ozarks quickly instilled a passion for the outdoors in me as a kid. I also love to make and study art, going so far as to get a bachelor’s in art history at the University of Arkansas. These two passions became entangled, and as soon as I picked up my first DSLR and headed into the woods I was hooked on nature photography.
Arguably my favorite subjects to shoot are Arkansas waterfalls. There’s not much I like more than heading up into a remote hollow with my camera and tripod after a good rain to see what I can find. But then, there’s also the overlooks, the rivers, the bluffs… Arkansas is chock full of amazing outdoor opportunities, and I aim to celebrate the Natural State with my work.
As much as I love my home, I love to travel and can’t resist lugging my camera equipment with me almost everywhere I go, just in case. These days I live in Argenta, NLR with my husband Tyler, and if I’m not out in the woods shooting or at my legal secretary day job, you can find me reading (history is my favorite), cooking, kayaking, or gardening. Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy my work. To contact me, find me on Instagram (link above) or shoot me an email.
