Tea Table Rocks

Growing up in the Arkansas Ozarks quickly instilled a passion for the outdoors in me as a kid. My family and I spent countless hours on the trails, rivers, lakes and hills of northwest Arkansas. My mother, a photographer and teacher, gave me a second-hand Canon Powershot as a teenager, and I took it with me everywhere. As a trained artist, I took on photography as just a new medium. No hike or vacation went by without a side quest for pleasing compositions or interesting lighting.

Years later, my gear has changed, but my passion for landscape photography has remained. I find myself frequently getting up before the sun, bushwhacking through rough terrain, and soaking my boots — all for that epic sunrise from a remote overlook, the land below covered in fog, stretching on quietly forever. The challenges of difficult terrain or inclement weather just make it all the more satisfying for me.

In the future, I’d love to travel more, and dip my toes into lifestyle and commercial photography as well. If you have a project in mind, I would love to work with you. Please contact me here.
